The Argo Manunggal Group is a major business organization encompassing the Textile, Steel, Poultry, Property, Mining, Energy, PVC piping, Insurance, Plantation, etc. The group is highly competitive, and has been very successful in adapting to new markets and business challenges, both locally and overseas. Established in 1949 by Mr. The Ning King from Textile Trading company to integrated Textile industry. One of the largest integrated Textile Producers in Indonesia, PT. Argo Pantes was listed on the Jakarta Stock Exchange on January 7th 1991. The Argo Manunggal Group is one of Indonesia’s largest manufacturing companies. A business with a global vision and worldwide distribution: Employs 22,000 people, 30 fac¬tories throughout Indonesia. Sales in excess of US$1,2 billion per annum. About 50% of production is exported.

Mr. The Ning King

The history of the Argo Manunggal Group began in 1949 when the founder, Mr. The Ning King, started his business in textiles trading. In 1961, Mr The established his first factory, a textile firm in Salatiga, Central Java. Under his stewardship, the group expanded and diversified into new business fields such as Textile, Steel, Property, Logistic, Poultry, Mining, and Venture

The group's parent company is PT. Daya Manunggal Textile Mfg (Damatex). It was established in the 1950s by The Nien King and partners. This company operates in the textile industry.

Mr. The started his first poultry breeding business (PT. Peternakan Ayam Manggis Group) in Sukabumi, West Java. Under his stewardship and family, the group expanded and diversified into new business fields in the agriculture business such as Parent Stock, Final Stock, Commercial Layer & Broiler, and plantation.

Galvanized industry PT. Fumira started in 1969 and was established in 1970

The steel mill subsidiaries were established. The company operates in the steel melting and rolling mills industry and has an expanded production capacity with some well-known brands.

PT. Argo Pantes (PT. AP) was established in Jakarta. PT AP is a textile company that operates an integrated textile industry, including spinning, yarn dyeing, weaving, finishing, and printing. It has exported its products to more than 40 countries.

PT Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate Tbk. (BeFa) is a leading developer and operator of world-class industrial estates in Indonesia. The company was founded on August 24, 1989, as one of the developers and management companies in the first industrial estates in Indonesia.

PT JAKARTA CAKRATUNGGAL STEEL MILLS is a domestic owned company founded in 1989. The factory occupies an area of 14.8 hectares and was built in three phases.

AMG started operating an industrial estate by founding PT. Bekasi Fajar Industrial Estate. The company has a 1,200-hectare industrial estate in West Java called MM 2100 Industrial Town.

Argo Pantes went public and listed part of its shares on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.

PT JAKARTA CAKRATUNGGAL STEEL MILLS. The first phase was the establishment of Rolling Mill no.1 in June 1992, followed by starting up the Melting Shop in December 1992 and Rolling Mill no.2 in July 1993. Since the installation and commissioning of all its production units, PT Jakarta Cakratunggal Still Mills has been successful in penetrating both domestic and international markets

Acquired development rights for extensive areas in  Serpong and established PT. Alam Sutera. The company launched Alam Sutera Township.

PT Alam  Sutera Realty  Tbk (ASRI) listed its shares on the  Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Direct toll access to Alam Sutera Township was officially opened.

PT. Alam Sutera Tbk Acquired 90.3% shares of  PT Garuda Adhimatra  Indonesia which held the  land rights of Garuda Wisnu Kencana Park in Bali.

On April 10, 2012, armed with a track record of excellence in quality and innovation, BeFa entered the stock exchange (go public). Its shares are now traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX: BEST).

A New City called "Suvarna Sutera" from Alam Sutera Tbk was launched. It is a 2.600-hectare new city in Tangerang that presents the concept of an integrated residential area. It has been developed since 2012.

Launched a New Logo of Fumira and Cakrasteel as a brand in July 2020, part of Industrial by AMG sub-holding.

Launching a new Business - Logistics by Argo Manunggal Group (Logistics by AMG), with 5 Core services: Warehousing, Contract Logistics, Distribution, Enabler, and Value Added Services (VAS).
